Prepaid and Post-Paid Electricity Meters
ASU has a broad range of prepaid electricity meters which includes 20a (low cost or RDP housing projects), 40a to 60a (residential flats, rented granny flats, small businesses, estates, and homes), 60a -100a single and three-phase (light commercial, large homes, and multi-room flatlets), 100a – 600a (Current transformer or direct connect meters including maximum demand customers).

Electrical Material and Consumables
ASU can facilitate procurement and supply all products from the MV/LV distribution points to service connection, which includes all transformers, overhead lines, MCB’s, fuses, poles, metering kiosks, and installations.
ASU specializes in contractor material sourcing and supply for specific projects or national electrification projects.

Communication (PLC, RF, GPRS, GSM)
ASU supplies prepaid and postpaid meters that are communication enabled, meaning that a prepaid split meter will communicate with the keypad via radio frequency and/or PLC. The larger power meters will communicate with the hosted automated meter reading (AMR) software via GPRS/GSM modems. In the case of smart metering, ASU can provide data concentrated technology that will allow the utility or private utility to monitor and manage the consumption patterns and mitigate the risk associated with meter tampering or bypassing.
